If your equipment has failed and you need an urgent repair, please call us! We never charge call out fees,even in an emergency we follow our standard pricing structure, and we will try to get to you as soon as possible. We specialize in ensuring that if your refraction unit, Slit Lamp or Henson fails when you need it most that we can give you a temporary or permanent fix in the shortest time possible. We are able to carry out repairs in our workshop, but try to fix things onsite where possible for your convenience. We can PAT Test items after repair if necessary too. Please call if you are having a problem with your machine and we will be able to advise you on options available and cost, with no obligation.

 

The image below shows three transformers two clear and a dark transformer, Guess which one is wrong? This unit was left on overnight and caught fire, luckily it extinguished itself. We traced the fault to a capacitor although much was destroyed. To get the store working again we were able to give a temporary solution until a new part could be purchased. Whilst a repair is possible, due to the fire it is safer to dispose of and start again...

 

We are sympathetic to the upset this causes and so are considerate in pricing, we don't take advantage and never will.
